How SpareIt works

Safe, simple buying and selling of car spares in South Africa.

Buying a part

1

Find the part you need

Search by make, model, year, and part category. Browse listings from private sellers, mechanics, and strip yards across South Africa.

2

Buy with confidence

Click "Buy now" and pay securely via PayFast. Your payment is held in escrow — SpareIt holds it safely until you confirm you've received your part.

3

Seller ships your part

The seller is notified immediately and ships your part via Pudo, PAXI, Aramex, or Courier Guy. They'll add a tracking number to your order.

4

Confirm receipt

Once your part arrives and you're happy with it, click "Confirm received" in your order dashboard. Payment is then released to the seller.

5

Problem? We've got you

If the part isn't as described, never arrives, or is damaged — raise a dispute. SpareIt holds the funds and mediates until it's resolved.
